Lisa Miller is the owner and the vision of Cottage Antiques. Early in her career Lisa was a children’s wear designer for over 20 years. She worked for Calvin Klein, and other top designers and finished her career at the Isfel Company designing private label for top department stores. Her specialty was color and print designs.
Lisa was always attracted to antiques and soon after marriage filled her home with a wonderful eclectic collection of American painted and folk pieces.
Cottage Antiques is a magical place in the most unexpected location, hidden in a antique Blacksmith shop next to the Horse & Hound Restaurant in South Salem, once you open the door you are totally immersed in a world miles away from the ordinary.
– Jan L, South Salem, NY
She established Cottage Antiques in 2003 because of an increasing demand from her friends to find fabulous pieces for their homes. It also didn’t hurt that she had a barn full of great antiques from her Estate Sale Company, Zach & Alix. Her buying trips take her to Vermont, Pennsylvania and Connecticut.
Lisa resides in Cross River, NY with her husband and two wonderful children, her home? An 1860 farmhouse.
Lisa’s shop is a mixture of old and new; all arranged with an eye for beauty and detail that only she can achieve.
